UNITAS in ROME: The 1st CFL European Conference

Praise God for the success of the 1ST CFL European Conference held in Rome last Oct. 11-12, 2025. It was a gathering of a community full of love, joy and enthusiasm. We learned a lot from the talks as well as from the sharer's insights.

The first day of the conference was a meet and greet of fellow delegates. It was good to see familiar faces from CFL Europe, CFL USA, CFL Manila, and our CFL elders who were all gracious, exuding God's kindness.

We had powerful speakers and they all gave empowering talks. It is always good to listen and discern for wisdom to be able to put these into action in our journey towards holiness. For it is only when we strive to be holy even in the midst of the many challenges and chaos in the world right now, that we know we are doing what God wants us to do. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament was a memorable one. It has touched so many hearts and I have witnessed the pouring of emotions as we felt the Holy presence of God.

Saturday's Gala Night was a combination of fun and at the same time, a showcase of talents. Indeed, God has bestowed the CFL Community with numerous talents. So, it was not only a gathering of delegates but also a gathering of talents. That would make me say, CFL Got Talent!

One of the most exciting parts was the announcement of where the next European Conference would be held. And we were thrilled and so happy to hear that our home country, Ireland, will be next year’s host! I take this opportunity to invite all our CFL brothers and sisters to come and join us in Mullingar, Ireland, for you will surely love it here! It is a lively and welcoming town in the heart of Ireland, known for its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful lakeside surroundings. And of course, you will get to experience authentic Irish traditional pubs. We are excited to see you all here in Mullingar!

Like in every story, there is a beginning and an end.

The First CFL European Conference concluded on a happy ending. Everyone was blessed with a heart full of joy, ready to serve the Lord. Having attended daily mass and witnessing the presence of the Lord in the Eucharist is a grace that is more than enough.

We went back home now to our respective countries, putting forward a renewed hope and blessings that we can share with others in this journey of life. This life that is meant for God!
