CFL GAINS FOOTHOLD IN VILLASIS PANGASINAN!

CFL has gained foothold in Villasis Pangasinan on November 16, 2025 as a team from Cluster 2 finalized plans with St. Anthony Abbot Parish Priest Fr. Franklin John U. Tandingan for CFL's engagement in the Parish.

As agreed with the Parish, a BFF will start on February 21, 2026, with a Youth LIFE activity simultaneously conducted on the same weekend.

Thereafter, a one-year formation program will be followed in order for CFL in the Parish to stand on its own after a year.

Fr. Franklin warmly welcomed the team from Cluster 2 composed of Cluster Head Jun Villar, Cluster Youth Coordinator Gabby Torrecampo, Sto. Tomas Youth Coordinator Jovert Escarza, Cluster 2 Youth Servant Arthur Torrecampo, and Pangasinan Youth Servants Harvey Garcia and Yen Pescador.

Fr. Franklin was with Alvin Abrenica, Parish Youth Ministry Adviser. Also present were parishioners John and Janica Bascos. Fr Franklin was happy that they signified openness to being part of the CFL Core Group in the parish. John and Janica recently completed the Made in Heaven 1 (MIH1) Retreat held in Alcala, Pangasinan and have committed to join the forthcoming BFF.

Fr. Franklin was gracious in acknowledging the team's effort in going to Villasis and thanking CFL in offering its program which is much needed by the parish. He committed full support to CFL and will endorse it to the other nearby parishes at the proper time, as the parish priests are his close acquiantances and classmates. As Harvey quipped, "We have not started yet, and we are already being blessed with assurance of endorsement to other parishes!"

The Lord must be preparing CFL to soar on eagles' wings in 2026!
