Happy 10th Anniversary to all of us in CFL!

As we celebrate ten wonderful years of Catholics for Family and Life, our hearts can only overflow with gratitude to the Lord. Our journey has been filled with grace, blessings, challenges, and countless moments of joy. Through it all, the Lord has faithfully accompanied us and guided our community every step of the way.

From the very beginning, God entrusted CFL with a beautiful vision: to preserve the sanctity of marriage and family and to share the fullness of life in Christ. At the heart of this vision is our mission – to evangelize every family into a life in Christ.

Looking back, we can see how faithfully the Lord has brought this vision to life, and I am reminded of the words of the prophet Habakkuk:

“For the vision is a witness for the appointed time. A testimony to the end: it will not disappoint. If it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late.” (Habakkuk 2:3)

What began ten years ago as a small seed of hope – a desire to live our Catholic faith more deeply and to bring Christ into the lives of families – has grown into a faith-filled community where God has provided opportunities to serve and allowed CFL to touch lives in so many ways.

Indeed, God’s plans will always prevail.

As this year’s Anniversary Event Head, it is especially meaningful for me to see us gather together in celebration not just for a single day, but for a whole weekend. Ten years is more than just a milestone to celebrate. For me, it should be a grand celebration of thanksgiving, a grand expression of our deep love and gratitude for a whole decade of God’s abundant graces and blessings. Today, as we celebrate with the theme, “10 Flights of Grace” we are reminded that every step of our journey has truly been sustained not by our strength, but by God who has lifted us, carried us, and taught us to soar.

Our tenth anniversary is not simply a celebration of how far we have come. It is also a joyful invitation to look ahead, with renewed faith, courage, and hope. With grateful hearts, we continue to trust God’s plan, remain faithful to our mission, and be ever more courageous witnesses of Christ’s love to families and to the world.

May the next flights of CFL take us even higher – not for our own glory, but so that through our lives, our service, and our witness, more families may encounter Christ and discover the joy of living in Him. May God bless CFL with many more years of faith, love, service, and joyful mission.
